Volkswagen clean diesel is a great lineup of vehicles.  There is sure to be a model that suites your needs.  The clean diesel TDI, that was developed between Audi, Mercedes and Volkswagen, controls emissions through different process.  The first method injects urea upstream of the exhaust and breaks down the NOx to Nitrogen and water.  Volkswagen will be using a NOx storage and then burn it during one of the engine cycles.
